关于我们

The Metropolitan Police Rugby Club was formed in 1923, exactly a century after William Webb Ellis’ inception of the beautiful game. The MPRFC’s very first game vs. The Honourable Artillery Company was played at Imber Court, which continues to be the home of Met Rugby.

The 70’s and 80’s saw the MPRFC playing teams that are now in the Premiership. Although the professional era of rugby has meant the club are no longer able to compete at the highest level, the MPRFC today is fully committed to playing competitive rugby, supporting the wider community and continuing to build on its long and proud history.
