SINGAPORE - A host of top sides will feature in this year's Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) Rugby 7s tournament from Nov 4-6 at a 7,000-seater purpose built arena at the Padang.

Headlining the 24 teams are the French national 7s side, Fiji's Davatalevu, Australia's Randwick, New Zealand's Ponsonby and defending Ablitt Cup champions HSBC Penguins.

Hosts Singapore will be represented by a team from SCC and the national side.

Also being staged are the SCC 7s women's competition, the finals of the national schools' and colleges' championships, including the Len Foster Cup (under-14s), John Clark trophy (under-16s) and the Sithawalla Cup (under-18s).

Fans can also expect a wide array of live music, a children's playground, merchandise stalls and F&B outlets.

Tickets to the tournament, partly held under floodlights, are on sale at www.sistic.org.sg and all SISTIC outlets at S$50 (three days for adult) and S$25 (three days for under-18s and senior citizens).
