IAS Phoenix is a Dubai based team comprising players from Australia, South Africa, England Scotland and Wales. 

The team plays weekly in the Active netball league.

These ladies grew up playing netball in their respective countries playing at different levels and have continued to play and support the sport they love at various different levels and in different capacities. 

3 of their players, Carly Lewis, Meg Polley and karon Trichardt, have recently represented the UAE as part of the gold medal winning Falcons squad in the European Challenge championship in Gibraltar.    

Key IAS Phoenix defender Jess Cronin is also part of the Falcons long squad returning now to full fitness following injury.

Falcons Captain Carly Lewis is Phoenix centre and has represented her country, Wales, in the Commonwealth games.

Falcons head coach Deb Jones plays for IAS Phoenix .  Deb is an ex England player and plays a huge role in netball community in the UAE both as a player and a coach. 

New IAS Phoenix recruit Ellie Smith played for U17 and U21 England set up from age 14 and continued playing Vitality Netball Superleague netball prior to moving to Dubai this year. 

IAS Phoenix are really looking forward to playing at the 7’s and bringing their best netball to this tournament.
